Communications Intern – Summer (Paid/In-Person)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hour per/week
Location: 2 Park Avenue
Dates: June 5th – August 11th 2023
Hourly Rate: $25/hour

What You’ll Do
The Communications team develops and implements communications programs to build employee engagement and increase alignment with corporate strategic priorities. The team oversees internal communications channels such as the company intranet, external channels such as social media and the website, and produces marketing materials.
L+M offers a comprehensive intern program. During the ten-week program, interns will gain exposure to the jobsite, means and methods of construction, tour several jobsites, attend a lunch with company leaders, and make a presentation on lessons learned to senior management. Specific duties will vary depending on the team but include tasks similar to these:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Draft content for the intranet, social media, and website, focusing on capturing the 2023 intern experience
- Work with the communications team on the website redesign project
- Design graphics and marketing materials
- Provide general support to the team
Who We Want:
- Pursuing an undergraduate college degree
- Interest in Communications and Marketing
- Strong writing skills
- Detail oriented
- Graphic design experience a plus (Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar)
