L+M is pleased to have partnered with Broad Community Connections (BCC) on the redevelopment of an approximately 61,000 square foot vacant grocery store, three blocks from the Faubourg Lafitte site, into a “fresh food hub” with an approximately 25,000 square foot Whole Foods grocery, an approximately 10,000 square foot commercial kitchen and café operated by Liberty’s Kitchen, an approximately 4,700 square foot teaching kitchen operated by Tulane University, and other retail or commercial space. The project intends to improve access to fresh foods and to contribute to the revitalization of an important commercial corridor—Broad Street.
