Using a holistic approach, we aim to support those most impacted by our work, including our residents, our employees, and local organizations and businesses, to achieve successful outcomes.
Resident and Community Development
Community and resident engagement are critical components of our work. Building trust and a positive reputation in the community underscores our work and helps us maintain our relationships with residents. L+M’s team is dedicated to this work and ensures that communication with residents and stakeholders is delivered in a transparent, accessible, and culturally sensitive manner.

Our current grantmaking program focuses on four priority areas:
Arts and Culture:
Support for cultural institutions and programs that strengthen neighborhoods and community identity by expanding access to diverse arts and cultural experiences.
Economic Opportunity:
Support for organizations that provide opportunities to increase long-term economic security and mobility through job training opportunities and placement in jobs that lead to careers, and financial counseling and other tools.
Education and Youth Development:
Investment in organizations that improve the life outcomes for youth by expanding access to quality development programs
Health and Well-being:
Support of organizations that improve the availability of nutritious, affordable food and access to fitness programs.
