The Murphy Houses Resident Association and L+M’s property management subsidiary, C+C Apartment Management, hosted the Second Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Event at the Murphy Houses Community Center in the Bronx.
The event brought together residents, community leaders, and healthcare advocates for an evening dedicated to education, support, and solidarity. Attendees heard powerful testimonies from survivors, including Murphy’s Resident Association Secretary, who shared her inspiring personal journey and message of hope.
The Murphy Resident Association also received a formal citation from New York Assembly Member Chantel Jackson, honoring their dedication to community health and awareness. The citation highlighted the importance of education, early detection, and collective support in the fight against breast cancer.
This annual event reflects our shared commitment to fostering a healthy, informed community. By coming together, we not only raise awareness but also strengthen the connections that make our communities stronger.
