L+M Development Partners, Vaya Development, and Ascendant Neighborhood Development have partnered with NYCHA on the rehabilitation and preservation of 1,058 units across Jackie Robinson and Harlem Scattered Sites. The group of 10 buildings include 131 Saint Nicholas Avenue, Corsi Houses, Jackie Robinson, Morris Park Senior Citizens Home, Taft Rehabs (1-4), UPACA 5, and UPACA 6. They include mid- and high-rise elevator buildings, as well as pre-war apartment buildings.

The developers are undertaking the project through NYCHA’s Permanent Affordability Commitment Together (PACT) program. The rehabilitation of this project represents an opportunity to improve the quality of life for the residents, while keeping rents permanently affordable.

The comprehensive renovations will upgrade all apartment interiors and building systems, including façade and roof repairs, new windows, a full elevator overhaul, and improved heating and ventilation. Each building will also receive new recycling, laundry, and secure package rooms. In addition, the project will create a new tenant association office and a renovated management office, with expanded social services offered through partnerships with LSA Family Health Services and Asian Americans for Equality.
