This is Essex Crossing.

The 1.9 million square-feet urban renewal development will transform the Lower East Side.

The unprecedented development with over 1.9 million square-feet in the heart of the Manhattan’s Lower East Side is comprised of nine sites. When complete in 2024, Essex Crossing will bring over 1,000 new residences, 800,000 square feet of retail, 400,000 square feet of office space, community attractions, and parks to the Lower East Side. The nine sites on six acres commonly known as the Seward Park Extension Urban Renewal Area (SPEURA), sat mostly vacant since 1967 and represents one of the most significant urban renewal developments in the history of New York City.
