Seniors at the Edenwald Houses in the Bronx participated in their first “Paint + Sip” led by artist Kondi Nikabou, who also works at the property as a security guard under L+M’s property management arm, C+C Apartment Management.
Kondi recently completed a painting of the Edenwald Houses, and residents and staff at the development loved it so much they asked him to teach a class for seniors at the development as a Valentine’s Day activity.
For the Valentine’s Day event, Kondi guided the senior residents to paint a picture that displayed a row of trees, blue skies, and two heart balloons floating in the air, while they enjoyed mocktails and snacks. Once completed, residents showed off their paintings with pride.
