When Ron Moelis first visited the Far Rockaways in Queens, New York, he visited Ocean View. Built as part of the Mitchell-Lama program, a mid-50’s affordable housing program which created over 700,000 middle-income and affordable housing in New York, the building had fallen into disrepair and the building was one-third vacant.
