L+M Development Partners’ Summer Internship program officially started this week with a cohort of 19 college students looking to gain valuable experience in the affordable, mixed-income, and market-rate housing sectors.
Our 2021 Interns come from schools in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Texas and were attracted to L+M because of our double bottom line philosophy and commitment to sustainable and affordable development.
L+M strongly believes in developing the next generation of real estate development and construction professionals by equipping students with more than classroom experience. We are proud to work with the 2021 Summer Interns and will share more about them and their achievements on our social media channels (Instagram and LinkedIn) in the coming months.
About our Summer Internship program:
When: 8 – 10 weeks from June through August.
Who: Undergraduate- and graduate-level students who have an interest and applicable skill set in affordable housing development and construction.
Where: Our interns are located in our New York City and Larchmont offices, and on our construction sites throughout NYC and New Jersey. Our internships are usually with the following teams:
- Asset Management
- Community Investment
- Construction
- Development
- Fund
- Human Resources
- Legal
- Workforce & Contractor Diversity
