L+M Gives Back Through Our Inaugural Week of Service

L+M launched its inaugural week of service, L+M Gives Back, bringing together 150 employees across five days to support nonprofit partners making a difference in New York communities.
Volunteers worked alongside Feeding Westchester, God’s Love We Deliver, Grassroots Grocery, Well Cloth’d, and NYC Parks to address food insecurity, provide essential clothing, and help restore a public green space.

Together, our teams made a powerful impact by:

  • Packing and distributing 10,790 pounds of fresh produce to 23 communities across Harlem and the Bronx with Grassroots Grocery
  • Sorting more than 2,800 pounds of donated goods from food drives and retail recovery programs to support families in Westchester
  • Preparing thousands of meals, including more than 2,000 containers of soup, 500 pieces of fish, 100 pieces of chicken, and hundreds of quinoa containers and cookies, for chronically ill, homebound New Yorkers with God’s Love We Deliver
  • Curating 30 bags of clothing for individuals in need in Brooklyn with Well Cloth’d
  • Clearing 0.42 acres of invasive Mugwort at the Arverne East Nature Preserve, supporting ongoing ecological restoration efforts with NYC Parks

Beyond the numbers, the week offered colleagues the chance to connect and experience the impact we can make when we step outside our daily routines and into our communities. We look forward to building on this momentum and continuing to support the organizations and residents who make New York home.
