L+M Development Partners’ Summer Internship program seeks out the next generation of real estate, development, and construction professionals who want to gain experience in affordable, mixed-income, and market-rate housing. The annual program supports students’ professional development and attracts students in high school and college as well as graduates who are engaged, tenacious and intelligent.
This year’s cohort is no different. Our 2019 Summer Interns come from schools across Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Virginia, and each intern has meaningfully contributed to their teams. During the Interns’ final presentation, they highlighted some of the things they learned including turning theoretical knowledge from the classroom into practical skills in the workplace, as well as broadening their understanding of the purpose and value of the teams they worked with during the summer. They also spoke about their renewed appreciation for L+M and its commitment to social responsibility and building high-quality affordable housing.
L+M strongly believes in developing the next generation of real estate development and construction professionals by equipping students with more than classroom experience. We are proud to work with the 2019 Summer Interns and wish them all the best in their careers.
About our Summer Internship program:

8 – 10 weeks from June through August.
Who
Undergraduate- and graduate-level students who have an interest and applicable skill set in affordable housing development and construction.
Where
Internships are available in our New York City and Larchmont offices and on our construction sites throughout NYC and New Jersey. Our internships are usually with the following teams:
- Asset Management
- Compliance
- Construction
- Development
- Human Resources
- Legal
