L+M partnered with nonprofits, Residents Associations, and community groups to help deliver over 1,500 Thanksgiving meals to our residents and families in New York and New Jersey.

Our team volunteered with Feeding NYC yesterday morning and packed over 500 Thanksgiving dinners, including a turkey and all the fixings. The hand-packed boxes will be delivered to families in need across the five boroughs.

Additionally, more than 850 turkeys were distributed to our residents at our properties in Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan, and Queens. The L+M team came together with our Resident Association leaders, elected officials, and volunteers to celebrate and deliver some good cheer for the holidays.

In New Jersey, we partnered with the GrassROOTS Community Foundation to bring a very special Thanksgiving celebration to our senior residents at Georgia King Village. Residents enjoyed all the seasonal favorites, including turkey, macaroni and cheese, candied yams, cabbage, and cornbread. A few lucky seniors won self-care gift baskets as part of a surprise raffle giveaway. We also delivered about 300 Thanksgiving boxes to our Newark residents.
